Sea Urchin Mug

This is a hand thrown ceramic piece done on a potter's wheel. It is made of a white stoneware finished with either a glossy white, celadon and blue dot, matte turquoise, or dark water blue glaze. The dots are all placed by hand with white or blue slip. The dark water blue glaze is a reminder of the colors of the deep ocean while the celadon is a translucent light blue that shows the beauty of the stoneware clay underneath. In addition, the handle has been embellished with hand made barnacles for that touch of whimsy. The perfect stunning addition to your home or office. They are perfect for your beach or vacation home.
