This is a hand thrown ceramic piece done on a potter's wheel. It is made of a white stoneware finished with a gorgeous sapphire glaze. The glaze breaks and drips over the dots in just the right way showing the design perfectly. The dots are done with white slip in a chandelier style and are amazing to touch. It is beautiful as a decor piece on it's own or filled with flowers or punch. I think sangria would be quite happy in this pitcher on a sunny summer day.
